Answer the prompts. The page assembles your audience, positioning statement, promise, three supporting messages and proof as you type, and flags the vague words every competitor uses.
1 · Audience
2 · Positioning statement
3 · Core promise
4 · Three supporting messages, each with proof
5 · Vocabulary
Write in your buyer's words, not your industry's. Nothing you type leaves this page.
Your messaging framework
Then test it
Test it before you use it. Give the finished page to someone who doesn't work with you and ask them to write a two-line introduction email from it. Compare it with the one you would have written. Then swap in a competitor's name: if the page still makes sense, it isn't specific enough.
The positioning statement is the part everything else rests on. If it won't fill, use the Positioning Statement Builder first. For why a messaging framework matters, and how it differs from positioning and a tagline, see the companion pieces in The Brand Code: What Is a Brand Messaging Framework? and Brand Messaging Framework Template, published on 21 October 2026. Questions
What is a brand messaging framework?
A one-page document that fixes what a company says, to whom and why they should believe it: audience, positioning statement, core promise, three supporting messages with proof, and a vocabulary list.
How long should a messaging framework be?
One page. If it runs longer, the thinking is not finished.
What is the difference between messaging and positioning?
Positioning is the decision about where you sit in the market and why. The messaging framework turns that decision into language and proof. A tagline is one small public piece of that language.
What if I have no proof yet?
Lead with method. A named, repeatable process is a proof point. Add results as you collect them, with permission.
Is my framework saved?
Only in your browser, on this device, so you can return to it. Nothing is sent to us.
