01 · Overview

A complete website overhaul for an executive protection firm, rebuilt to represent the brand properly and to speak to the clients it wants: executives, diplomats and high-net-worth families.

The Barricade provides executive protection, covert security operations, secure transportation, risk assessment and security consulting. Its clients are executives, diplomats, high-net-worth individuals and organisations working in high-risk environments.

We rebuilt the website from the ground up: the positioning behind it, the user experience, the interface, the pages and the build. The aim was a site that represents the brand properly and is aimed squarely at the buyers it wants to reach.

02 · Challenge

In protection, the website is the first background check.

Buyers in this category are cautious by profession. Before they call, they judge a firm the way the firm judges risk: quietly, quickly and without telling anyone. A website that looks generic, over-claims or hides the next step reads as a risk.

The brand also had to speak to two audiences at once: the principal who wants discretion, and the organisation that needs structure, clear scope and a process. And it had to do so on a phone as readily as on a desktop.

03 · Solution

Restraint, structure and one clear next step.

The visual language is built from the brand's own black and signal red: a dark, quiet interface where type and photography carry the weight, and colour is held back for the moments that matter, such as the calls to action.

The hero offers two private ways in: a team member on chat, or a confidential consultation. Services are laid out as one system rather than a list, and each has its own page, so a buyer can go straight to the protection they need.

The questions a careful buyer asks are answered on the page: whether the service is discreet, how risk is assessed, how quickly a team can deploy, whether retained cover is available and how pricing is structured.

We handled the UX, the interface design and the development, so what was designed is what shipped, and the same hierarchy and calls to action hold on a phone.
